Next month we celebrate our 5th birthday and we marked the occasion at a party last week at Freight Island in Manchester. It was a fantastic event in the glorious Mancunian sunshine and was enjoyed by 200 young people, staff, consultants, partners and fundraisers from across the UK.
Scotland House Projects recognsied as positive examples from the Promise Oversight Board

House Projects in Fife, East Dunbartonshire and Midlothian are recognised as a positive example of practical change in report two from the Promise Oversight Board.

The effectiveness of the psychological framework underpinning the House Project approach in supporting young people leaving care. Academics from Universities around the UK have worked closely with The National House Project (NHP), Local House Projects (LHP) and young people to examine the implementation and effectiveness of the psychological framework that underpins the practice of NHP.

Scotland House Project Success
In a landmark event to mark the 10th anniversary of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, Who Cares? Scotland hosted its first ever Corporate Parenting Awards, celebrating achievements of organisations dedicated to supporting Care Experienced young people. The event in Glasgow recognised outstanding contributions across several categories, with East Dunbartonshire and Midlothian House Projects winning awards in three areas.
