Greater Manchester House Project: 'Festive Food Bank'

The Greater Manchester House Project have come together to create a 'Festive Food Bank' with extra special thanks to Chris and Angela from Asda Superstore in Hulme for their very kind donations! Creating this food bank with the support received from donations has enabled us to support our young people during the Christmas period, by providing food parcels and in turn alleviated some of the financial stresses our young people are experiencing during this cost-of-living crisis.

In a landmark event to mark the 10th anniversary of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014, Who Cares? Scotland hosted its first ever Corporate Parenting Awards, celebrating achievements of organisations dedicated to supporting Care Experienced young people. The event in Glasgow recognised outstanding contributions across several categories, with East Dunbartonshire and Midlothian House Projects winning awards in three areas.
