MCR HP attends Stop The Hate Conference!
Posted 28th February 2022
Manchester House Project attended the Stop The Hate Conference at Moss Side Powerhouse on 24.02.22. We put together a stall (including muffins!) and focused on spreading some of the work that we are doing.
This was an inspiring event, where the community, local charities and housing providers got together to discuss working together to stop hate crime in both Moss Side and Manchester as a whole. It was also a great opportunity for us to meet and network with other organisations operating in the Greater Manchester area.
We also have some really exciting news! We have been working from the Beehive in Crumpsall, but from this week onward we will be based (on a provisional basis, for a month) at the Millennium Powerhouse in Moss Side - so this was also an opportunity to see our new home! We're hoping that the more central location, mixed with all of the inspiring community events and activities taking place here will allow us to really improve and solidify our offer to the young people we're working with.
Thank you,
The MCR House Project Team
